Civic Radio interview with Zara Rahman: how grassroots activists use technology in their work and much more

29th June 2015 Posted by: Jo Barratt

In this 11th episode of our Civic Radio podcasts feature, Jo Barratt talks to Zara Rahman as she shares her interest in how grassroots activists use technology in their work.

Speaking from her current city of Berlin, Zara has been working in the open data space for the Open Knowledge Foundation for the past two years. With a mixture of English and Bangladeshi background, she gives insight to where she believes institutions fit in societies and from experience how civic tech initiatives need to reach out beyond their immediate communities.
